About Me
Born in 1979 or 1980, Nicolas Pieter du Preez is a South African paratriathlete. He became the first person with tetraplegia to complete an Ironman Triathlon in 2013. Du Preez has won the Berlin Marathon seven times since 2008. He competed in the 2012 Summer Paralympics in the 100m event and won gold in the time trial as an H1 competitor at the 2020 Summer Paralympics. He has also secured five gold medals at the UCI Para-cycling Road World Championships, totaling thirteen medals from 2014 to 2022.
