Faysal Sawadogo

Born in Burkina Faso, Faysal Sawadogo is a renowned taekwondo athlete who has earned recognition for his skill and achievements. Named Athlete of the Year in 2017 by the Association of Sports Journalists of Burkina, he won a bronze medal at the 2019 African Games and another bronze at the 2020 European Club Championships. Sawadogo also earned bronze at the 2021 African Taekwondo Championships in Dakar and represented his country at the 2020 Summer Olympics in the Men’s 80 kg category.
