Briana Esteves

Hi! My name's Briana Esteves and I'm Portuguese-American born and raised in Newark, NJ. I've been around soccer since I was born but only started playing it at 11 years old for Ironbound Soccer Club, which wasn't known for its girls' program. After playing for an academy and being recruited, I'm now playing Division 1 soccer at Fairleigh Dickinson University - Metropolitan Campus in Teaneck/Hackensack. When I'm not in school or practicing/playing I'm volunteering to give back to the community that supported and helped shape who I am today. I volunteer at Ironbound Soccer club where I coach in the Developmental League and a U10 girls travel team. I love this sport, giving back to my community through it and empowering young girls along the way to dream big because no dream is too big.
